Excused absence

This photo is currently on my desktop. It greets me when I open my computer and, even though I know what to expect, my heart explodes every time. This is only one of hundreds taken the week of Thanksgiving. And now you know where I’ve been.

You can see lots more photos here. Stories (hopefully) coming soon. In the mean time, I wish you all a beautiful, peaceful advent season.

Love, Jeanne

Have you ever? I could just fall in to those cheeks and maybe not come home.

I’m glad your Thanksgiving was so wonder-full, Jeanne. No–never apologize for that. Your comment over at my place when you returned just warmed me. Your gift with words blesses me tremendously. I am grateful you wrap words around beauty and give. (And I must say…I am always behind on my visiting, so no apologies there either!). Love to you, friend. Back to the poetry of my life. 🙂

Thanks for all your kind words, Laura, and for living your poetry. You’re a blessing to me and many.

I wouldn’t write either if I had photogenic people I loved around. Adorable kid. 🙂

Thanks, Duane. You and your bride are pretty adorable, too. I’ve been enjoying all the cozy little glimpses into your happily ever after!
