Bumps in the road of life.

Sometimes I just don’t understand how people can be so selfish. I mean, life is supposed to be a two-way street, right? You share the road? Give and take? But no, it’s just one person after another honking and cursing and trying to run you off the road. I don’t know if I can take it any more.

Then the police man pulls me over, and I realize this is a one-way street after all. Oops. Sorry, everyone.

  1. …and now a word from your driving instructor:

Gee Luke, how kind of God to blot out in your memory our days of putting around in the RAV while you learned how to drive. Many are the times I cringe at how I behaved attempting to sit still as I road shotgun, letting you learn. Often I think it is inspite of me you have become an excellent driver!

However, I am interested to know what this post is about from your beloved Mum. I think I’ll give her a call…

Oh, you (plural)! I just made this up to amuse myself. I’m a good driver and a good driving instructor. I taught Grace, and she . . . well, never mind.

    (Just kidding, Gracie.)

    Love you’uns.

I do remember the word “careening” was involved in reference to speeds well under 40… you did me well Pa, discipline is good.

    love,
