enough

Grace has embarked on a new “adventure.” I wrote a piece about it for The Master’s Artist, if you’re interested. The comments below the post provide additional info.

We never know what a day will bring forth, but we know the One whose mercies are new every morning. He gives what is good. And that is enough.

  1. Jeanne,

I will pray for Grace (and you and yours). Today would have been my daughter Sally’s 16th birthday. Oh how I wish she were here–with arthritis, with cancer, with brain injury, with whatever defect and illness this broken and fallen world can dish out–to be able to hold her in my arms and express my deep love for her. Treasure each moment with your dear girl, even ones of pain, suffering and heartache.

    Much love,

    Craig.

  2. it’s funny to feel so much like someone else’s family is your family, especially when you only know them online 😉 …but know that my prayers are with you and Grace and all the rest of you in this new visit to the workshop. the hammer and chisel are not welcome for the pain they bring but for the beauty they produce. beautiful like nail pierced hands. i don’t understand, and it doesn’t seem fair that some people seem to be in and out of the workshop so much more often than others… but those who do, have unmistakably the most beautiful spirits.
i trust the Good Shepherd will lead you through this valley to the still water.

  3. Thank you, Katie. “Beautiful like nail pierced hands” is a rich and lovely thought. We appreciate your prayers and are honored by the implication of your words.

Please feel free to consider yourself a part of this family. We welcome you. (Now, go clean your room.)
