Now Showing at a CyberTheater Near You

Attention, L-Jarita-ville. I have a few announcements. Just follow the linky-dinks provided below, and all your dreams will come true. Or not. But follow them anyway.

It’s time once again for a Celebration of New Christian Fiction. Check out this month’s blogger bonanza, hosted by the lovely and talented Marcia Laycock at her cozy little piece of the Net, WRITER-LEE.

Last Saturday George and Jacob picked nine pounds of blueberries at Martin’s Berry Farm. For Father’s Day, I made THIS. Yummmm. (If that link doesn’t work, go HERE. And don’t worry. I didn’t use all nine pounds.)

This Saturday, the artist formerly known Wordman as and I are meeting at my brother’s recording studio in Austin to lay down some musical tracks for a mystery CD, which you will or will not hear more about in the future, depending on how the recording goes. (Please consider this a prayer request.)

This concludes our broadcast. You have just enough time to visit the lobby for some hot, buttered popcorn and fizzy, cold cola before our feature presentation: Life on a Wednesday Afternoon. Enjoy!

  4. Re: Whoa!

It took a couple of hours. And George did most of it. Jacob spent a lot of the time apologizing for picking berries that weren’t ripe enough or for accidentally picking leaves and branches. 🙂

Hmmm. The link works for me, but I posted another option for you and anyone else who can’t see it. Thanks for the heads up!

  7. Re: Music!!

Thanks, Katy! I was going to e-mail you and ask you to pray, because I knew you’d want this to go well. 🙂

You sure know how to boost a girl’s confidence. I appreciate you! If there’s a CD to be had, you will get one.

  10. Re: Driving?

Hey! Yeah, I’m driving. I’ll be in a rush to get there Saturday, but I’ll be driving home at my leisure Sunday afternoon. I’ll e-mail you my cell phone number. Thanks for the invite!

  13. Yes. Picking berries is a very relaxing, I’m-one-with-the-edible-foodstuffs experience. Sort of has a Little-House-on-the-Berry-Farm-ishness about it. Loverly.

  19. Re: coffee with Luke

Yay! I’m glad you two got together! I’m sure Luke enjoyed it as much as you did.

I suppose he’s landed in London now to begin his summer adventures. Or to continue them, I should say. After all, the highlight (coffee with you) has already come and gone. 😉

I hope you’ll keep blogging about your upcoming adventures in France. Exciting times, Jason! I’ll be praying for you and Christy.

    Love,
    J.

P.S. Oh, and you’re welcome for the coffee. Luke is quite the generous host with his credit card, no? 😉

  22. As you wish.

I will hug Grace decently when she wakes up. It’s now 10:20 AM, so that may yet be a few hours hence. 😉

Thanks for driving her to the airport. You’re a dreamboat.
