I would love to write about our trip to Seattle, which was magnifilous, but I don’t have time. I will say, though, that hearing Luke and Grace sing two of Luke’s songs at the coffee house was splendid. And hearing all the people cheering for them warmed my heart. It was a beautiful Momzy moment.
In one week Luke made a truckload of friends. That boy is Mr. Gregarious, even though he likes to pretend he’s moroseful and misogynistic. Puh-lease. That’s just a bunch of misplaced emulationizing. He’s a people magnet, and he thrives on it. Sorry, Luke. You know it’s true.
Since I can’t take the time to write about all we did, I will just ask the question of the day. Did you know we got our couch re-upholstered? Indeed. And it looks lovely! Come sit on it, people.
I’m making up new words today. Did you notice? Whoever finds them all wins a prize and/or a button.

P.S. Something I learned: I like Thai food. I don’t like African food. At least not vegetarian Moroccan cous-cous with onion mustard sauce.
emulationizing
Is that a real word? Or did you mean “misspelled emulsifying”?
New threads for the couch, huh? I always liked your couch.
Funny … it doesn’t read like nothing. You like Thai food??? WELCOME TO THE FAMILY!
you tell terrible lies about me woman!
love,
luke
I meanted what I saided.
No, it’s not a real word. Did you read carefully, Wordnerd? I said I was making up words today, silly.
I love my couch, and it looks so nice now! It had gotten thread-bare on the edges, and I had to keep a decorative throw on it to hide its shabbiness. But now it is gleaming in all its splendor! Come see. And bring the supermodel fan club with you.

We ate Thai food twice in Seattle. I would tell you what I had, but the names are even weirder than words I might make up if I ever decided to make up words, which I probably never would, except today. One of them was Pud-se ew, I think. Something like that. Anyway, I loved it.
There’s no place to get Thai food in our little East Texas town. Sadness.
Face the music, Luke. And march to the drummer. And, um, you’ll be singing a different tune, because, uh, the hills are alive with the sound of music.
I must go to bed. I love you, Mr. Gregarious.
Momzy-fries
Wow! I’m lucky! We have two here. My favorite is Pad Thai. Even though it makes my nose “athletic” when I eat it. YUM!!! I like your Word Smithing, btw.
Woohoo!
You go, girl!!! I would personally like a button but I’m too lazy to find all your funky words. Besides, isn’t everything that comes out of the work of your hands perfect anyway? Heck, I’d take you over Webster anyday. 🙂
Woohoo to you, too!
Wow! Thanks Jesse! Just for that wonderfiable comment, I’ve decided you deserve a button anyway, even though you are lazy and you have boogers.

Re: Woohoo to you, too!
No. You don’t have boogers if you pick them regularly. Some say it’s a nasty habit, but it’s better to clean them out than have them hanging out of your nostrils. 🙂
How was the writer’s conference?
Re: Woohoo to you, too!
I couldn’t agree more… some people find it an offensive practice but I’m trying hard to make it fashionable. Again. I mean, what’s healthier: cakey boogers drying up your nose and pulling your nose hairs, or clean niceness?!!
I will love the button forever.
I suppose, if you want to get philosophical, then the writer’s conference has already happened from an omniscient God’s perspective. (He sees the end from the beginning, no?) But, I won’t be able to get an inside view till April 2-6. So, you can keep praying for me, as I’m sure you have been diligently and with all fervor.
One trip down (Seattle). Two to go (Colorado day after tomorrow; California a week from Friday). Look at me! Jetsetter, cosmopolitan, world travel girl on parade. But I still get boogers, too.
Oh. I thought you were going on to the conference from Oregon. Have fun. Sell a million books and all that. 🙂
I think you know that young man of yours pretty darned well.
And hello, wayfaring stranger!
And wow! Such trips you’re taking! Have fun!
